Expanding Economic Development

Wendy McNamara believes that we are and need to continue to be open for business. She will continue to support and promote policies that expand economic development opportunities here in Southwestern Indiana.

At the heart of economic development is the ability to get products and people from one location to another. She has supported efforts to complete I-69 to Indianapolis from the beginning, and will not rest until it is complete with a new corridor to Kentucky.

Wendy has also supported legislation that provides $328 million in new revenue to INDOT to meet preservation and maintenance needs through half of fiscal year 2018 while also providing $186 million in upfront cash to the Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant Account.

She has a 100 percent vote rating with the Indiana Manufacturer’s Association.

She will always support policies that spur and support economic development, especially in Southern Indiana.
